Organizational Development


We consider Organizational Development as a journey that we embark upon in partnership with our clients.

We support complex organizations in gaining a deeper understanding of the challenges they are facing and we provide the tools and insight they need in order to adapt and to achieve their strategic objectives.  Challenges faced may be internal or external and can range from major regulatory changes or an economic recession, changes in leadership, a merger, or low morale.  Simply put, we partner with senior leaders, helping them to align their business strategy with their people strategy.

We approach our OD work without preconceived notions about what must occur in order to be successful.  Instead, we partner with each organization to properly and thoroughly understand what challenges exist and develop interventions that are insightful, meaningful, and impactful. We frequently leverage robust maturity frameworks to help reveal areas of opportunity for improvement that might otherwise be overlooked in less structured approaches. We further extend our enquiries to develop a holistic and comprehensive understanding of people’s drivers and behavioral patterns as well as the organization context which creates them. We don’t stop there, though, extending our assessment to encompass the business drivers and external elements that allow us to craft improvement recommendations that make sense for the organization and actually produce the desired results. Our diverse client portfolio has given us extensive benchmarks across different industries with regard to leadership, strategy, and organizational processes.

Our clients see us as trusted advisors with whom they form enduring and authentic partnerships.  We do not ‘camp’ in a client’s office or try to take over and tell them what to do.  Instead, we facilitate, advise, coach, and challenge to help ensure that any intervention is led and driven from within the organization and owned at the very top. We favor a systemic approach as opposed to linear interventions. Business Development: The fundamental value proposition underpinning the use of a business development maturity assessment is linked directly to improved results in terms of an organization’s ability to predictably capture business and achieve a high return on its sales and marketing efforts.

Business Process: The appraisal addresses challenges to the success of enterprise systems by examining business process workflows to identify risks posed by process weaknesses.  Additionally, it identifies and simplifies the requirements for enterprise applications and as a result will reduce the complexity of enterprise systems.

Corporate Governance: The step of adopting an integrated approach to setting operational standards and making sure they’re met—by integrating activities that are frequently siloed and often duplicative or contradictory—enhances the corporation’s value by making its governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) activities more efficient and effective.

Human Resources: Human resources management can be exceptionally complex and challenging to understand exactly where investments in improvement will yield maximum value to the organization.  Our intensive assessment approach is tailored to the specific needs and interests of our clients.

eGovernment: This assessment directly assists in determining governmental organizational issues and operational feasibility associated with operating and implementing services and solutions in a sustainable and effectual manner.

Six Sigma: Identifying process quality challenges within any organization is tough, especially if it is your own environment where the examination needs to occur, because you and your team have looked at everything already, right?  Well, maybe not.  This is the advantage of employing an external Six Sigma assessor to help look at the organization from an unbiased perspective.
